Kickest Fantasy Points: How to evaluate a player’s performance

How to evaluate players’ scores on Kickest

On Kickest, there are no grades or ratings. We’ve chosen to take a different path, one of objectivity. We have no intention of describing a player’s performance with our scores, but at least we don’t make anything up.

On Kickest, each player earns points based on the statistics they record during the match and – to a small extent – also affects the result of the team they belong to.

Every event related to a player corresponds to a bonus (or a penalty). For example, a goal awards 20 points if scored by a defender, 14 if done by an attacker. A converted penalty is worth 10 points for all (-10 if missed). A shot on target earns 2 points, a completed dribble 1 point. A goalkeeper who finishes the game without conceding a goal gets 10 points, while a save is worth 1.5 points, and so on. See the complete scoring system.

One of the initial challenges is understanding whether a score is a good score or a bad score. This is important (also) due to substitutions between Rounds (R), which allow you to replace a player with one who hasn’t yet taken the field. For this reason, we’ve prepared a table.

Trust it, but only to a certain extent, as the decisions you make in managing your team depend on various factors.

Kickest Fantasy Points (FPT) Grade
less than 5,9 very bad
6 to 9,9 bad
10 to 14,9 so and so
15 to 19,9 good
20 to 29,9 very good
more than 30 great!
