The regular football seasons around Europe are just a matter of weeks away from ending, and then all attention will turn to the upcoming European Championships in Germany. And while there are several teams expected to impress, there’s also a raft of players to keep an eye out for at Euro 2024.
Kylian Mbappe
France, alongside England, are favourites to win the upcoming tournament where 2024 Euro betting online is concerned. And, if France are to get over their World Cup heartache and win the Euros, a lot will rely on star player Kylian Mbappe performing. The twenty-five-year-old attacker has been prolific for PSG in front of goal once again this season, and with a summer switch to Real Madrid on the horizon, the former Monaco man will be looking to do the business in Germany.
Jude Bellingham
As mentioned above, England are expected to be there or thereabouts at the Euros, especially after losing on penalties in the final of the competition back in 2021. But for that to be the case, they will need their mega stars to show up, of which Jude Bellingham is one. The twenty-year-old attacking midfielder was excellent at Borussia Dortmund before making the switch to Real Madrid and becoming a world-class player. His ability to score goals from advanced positions and knit things together will be key for Gareth Southgate’s side.
Jamal Musiala
Germany are hosting the Euros, so there will be an expectation placed upon them to do well. Luckily, they can call on rising superstar Jamal Musiala, who has already established himself as one of Bayern Munich’s better players this season, even if it has been a disappointing one for the German giants. Musiala has started the last two Germany games, with an assist registered in each, so the twenty-one-year-old will be a starter for sure at Euro 2024, and manager Julian Nagelsmann will look to him to create.
Xavi Simons
Dutch attacker Xavi Simons joined PSG from PSV last summer and was immediately loaned out to RB Leipzig, where he’s registered a direct goal involvement every 1.5 games, which is quite something. Now, the twenty-year-old will be looking to add to his thirteen caps for the Netherlands at Euro 2024. He’s been a regular in the squad and the starting XI for some time now, and Simons can bring qualities to the table that others can’t, making him a very important player for the Dutch.
Rasmus Hojlund
Rasmus Hojlund, 21, made a big-money move to Manchester United in the summer, and after a struggle to start with, the Danish striker is beginning to show why the powers that be at Old Trafford decided to splash the cash on him. Hojlund, who appears to be settling into life with every passing game at United, is the man the Danish national team will turn to when it comes to goals in Germany in Euros. He’s already bagged seven in twelve for Denmark and will undoubtedly add to that in the tournament.
